About Me

Hello! My name is Thomas Bivins and I am a Software Systems Engineer at the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) where I work in the design / acquisitions of various training systems for the US Navy, including those for the AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom.

Formerly, I worked in the USF Computational Sociodynamics Lab for the purpose of testing a custom algorithm that would deliver more reliable yet personally tailored information to people's Twitter feeds.

I have a great passion for Computer Science and Engineering and find that I learn something new every day. Aside from school and work, I also have a multitude of hobbies that include baseball, jogging, and personal programming projects. For further inquiries, feel free to contact me. Thanks!
